2024 Sauvignon Blanc
This is not your millennial’s Sancerre. She is a feral predator...slinking low and slow and drawing you in. Pretty notes of lemongrass, eucalyptus, tuberose, and tea tree oil. Followed with biscuits and salty ocean air. Checks all the boxes, like quantum theory in a glass.
Pair with noise-cancelling headphones, brand new pool floaties, oysters, and a grilled panini sandwich.

Vineyard notes
The 2024 growing season started cool and slow, with the sun and heat not arriving until mid-June. The fruit retained more of its natural acid, a welcomed trend we saw across the two vineyards. Yields were slightly lower than average, a clear contrast to the abundance of 2023.

Production notes
Four separate lots were hand-harvested in the cool early morning, then pressed whole cluster. The different picks captured nuanced flavors and acid profiles. After cold settling the juice (no fining), Right Left vineyard was racked to our two cement eggs for native fermentation. The hillside fruit from Two Wolves vineyard was also fermented spontaneously in tank and aged in stainless steel barrels. Both lots were blended together and bottled in the spring of 2025.
