2017 Block Four Cabernet Sauvignon
This luscious mama is a head-turner. She’s intense and dirty in the best possible way. Juicy bright raspberry, spicy clove, nutmeg, and velvety tannins leave a lasting impression. While this wine is not at all shy, there is much more of her mystery still to be revealed.

Vineyard notes
2017 began with hopes of a perfect vintage. The cooler spring and moderate temperatures in the summer set the stage for a beautiful growing season. The health and vitality of our vineyard proved to be incredibly important when an intense heat wave settled in early September. Block fours dense spacing protected the fruit by shading neighboring vines and keeping temperatures cooler. The vines emerged from the heat and continued ripening after a long pause to produce concentrated intense fruit.Production notes
Fermented in a new Taransaud foudre, aged in one new and one once used barrique.
