This bright, fresh Sauvignon Blanc may be our best expression yet. White peach, limestone, yuzu, and kiwi aromas. It shows a serious minerality, and a lovely flintiness on the finish along with savory notes like oregano and sage. Easy to drink, while also being textural and bold.
Pair with shaved fennel and grapefruit salad with a tangy vinaigrette, Dungeness crab (any shellfish, really), or a mushroom risotto.

- Varietal 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard Notes
The Sauvignon Blanc was the first pick of the mild and even 2022 vintage. Beautiful fruit was picked on a classic foggy morning in August. Though the yields were lower than average, the intensity and quality of fruit was very high.
Production Notes
Hand harvested. Whole cluster pressed. Native yeast.
The fruit was gently pressed into a stainless tank where it cold settled for one day, without the addition of fining agents. The juice was then racked to two cement eggs and a stainless-steel tank for ferment. Fermentation was cool and slow over three months. The finished wine was racked and blended the following February, and bottled in the spring.

My funky, quirky, elegant, badass friend. This is the Iris Apfel of wines, timeless. Generously giving aromas and flavors of honeycomb, white flowers, and pear, with that lovely petrol note on the finish.
Pair with grilled chicken or a delicate fish, shellfish with Asian flavors, pasta primavera, potato leek soup, or a salad with goat cheese.

Vineyard Notes
Picked in the first weeks of the vintage, after a cooler week of temperatures. It was picked on a foggy, but unusually warm morning. The vineyard had an opportunity to ripen slowly as we had no extreme heat waves. The fruit was in beautiful condition when hand harvested.
Production Notes
40% skin contact. Native yeast.
After hand harvesting, a portion of the fruit was destemmed and put into neutral open top barrels for skin contact. It spent 21 and 37 days on the skins with gentle punch downs twice a day. The other lot was pressed as juice and fermented in neutral French oak. Both lots matured in neutral oak, until all were blended together and bottled in the summer.

Take your time with this one. Aromatically, this wine is smoky-jazz-bar-sexy. A hit of bing cherry, followed by black peppercorn, cloves, white sage and a lift of dried roses. There is a moody dance going on here with concentrated fruit on one hand, and a fresh, energetic burst on the other.
Pair with pan seared filet with brown butter and fresh herbs, sautéed chanterelle mushrooms, cacio e pepe, or braised tomatoes with burrata and smoked white beans.

- Varietal 50% Cab Sauv, 41% Merlot, 7% Syrah, 2% Cab Franc
Vineyard Notes
The start to 2020 was cool and late. The abundant sunlight and moderate temperatures made for an ideal summer. Heat waves in September posed a challenge for harvest, but the vines showed resilience and produced fruit that was still balanced and flavorful.
Production Notes
Each component for this blend was vinified individually, using a variety of techniques. The Merlot was destemmed and fermented in open top tanks. Blocks 6 and 7 Cabernet were fermented in a stainless-steel tank, block 4 in a wooden foudre, and block 1 in open top puncheons. Right Left Syrah was 44% whole cluster, and the Cab Franc 66% whole cluster. All ferments were carried out by native yeast, and after pressing the wines were aged in French oak before being blended and bottled in the summer of 2022.
