Popping

Am I in Ireland? Am I dreaming? How green it is!
I knew it was raining in Australia, and I was following the storms back home, but one forgets how NEON it gets around these parts once Spring has sprung and the rains have come. It’s bloody gorgeous! Like a happy little bored leprechaun decided to spill the magic green fairy dust.
Buds are popping, the cover crops are blooming, and wildflowers are springing up all over the ranch…
We just received several more inches of rain which puts us much above average for the year, and should keep the vines vigorous and productive this season. We are always grateful for more water around these parts of California and two years of good rainfall is a blessing.
March brought various events highlighting women, (wooo hooo) including our local Women Winemakers and Culinarian Celebration. On March 9th, 34 winemakers and 17 chefs and food purveyors came together to support each other and raise money for She Raised Her Hand, an initiative that provides opportunities for women to find community, purpose, and strength in their identity as veterans.
Though it’s no longer officially Women’s History Month, we celebrate women year-round here at Two Wolves, being 100% female, owned and operated. That means women are driving the forklift, fixing the machinery, doing all the physical cellar work, and making all the logistical, financial, and winemaking decisions. That’s a small sample of all that our mighty team does on a daily basis.
From our hearts and soil, we send you love, well wishes, and sunshine!
Cheers,
